The Cub Pack
The Cub Pack is for boys and girls aged 8 to 10. We follow a programme called the Cub Trail, which is divided up into two parts, and both are equally important.
The first part, is called Advancement. This is the part of the programme that we carry out when we meet as a Pack, and Cubs advance through a series of Badges, based on their age.
The second part, is called Interest Badges, and these are carried out mostly at home, in the Cub's own time. The emphasis here is on Cubs choosing badges that suit their tastes and hobbies, and then attempt to do them, with some assistance from parents if needed.
We work within the framework of Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book, which provides us with some of our ceremonies, and special traditions.
Our Cub Pack meets on Friday evenings, during government school terms, from 17:15 to 19:15.
